Halloween

Well the day finally came for Trick or Treating the boys were so excited. P got to wear his costume to preschool and they had a little party and candy exchange. Then when Dad got home we ate dinner and we dressed up, even Abby, for some pictures. Then we went around the block to a few houses, it was the boys first time going door to door; they did great. They would ring the bell, and when the door opened yell trick or treat, and say thank you afterwards. E however didn't want to leave, he would stand there talking, trying the pet the dog or cat and even trying to go in their houses a few times. All in all they had a great time and got way to much candy. After we went to visit some old friends who used to live by us. Then it was off to the Grandparents house to get pictures with the cousins. P and E thought it was neat to pass out candy at the Grandparents house.

All of us in our costumes at home. Check out Abby the Super Dog

Halloween party- Trunk or Treat

Tonight we went to my sisters church for dinner and a trunk or treat. The boys had fun playing with the other kids and their cousin Em. P was so excited because he found another kid who was a red Power Ranger too. It did start to rain on us a bit but it wasn't to bad. Also E found someone dressed up as Jack from the Nightmare before Christmas. (that is the boys favorite movie of the week) He had to go talk with him and give him a hug. The boys got a ton of candy.

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves; and a little paint

Oh no! Where could the boys be?
P and E sitting in the leaves, with Abby looking on
Abby getting in on the fun, leaves everywhere
Paint, very bright
"Cheetos Paws" Abby sure liked that paint

Scary Jack-O Lanterns

Today it was such nice weather, the kids had the day off of school and German man had the day off of work so we wanted to have a fun day. It didn't start out so fun, the boys went to the doctor for their flu shots. When we got home we went out back and racked a big pile of leaves and played for a while, the boys kept saying "canonball" and then they would jump in the leaves. Abby was getting in on the fun as well. Later German man decided to get out his paintball gun and use up some old paint, the boys really liked helping dad shoot " the gun" especially E. He kept asking to do more. They were shooting at an old piece of plywood, sitting up against the fence. Paint got all over the grass too. At first Abby was scared then she wanted to get closer and finally she ended up licking the plywood. We all went inside except Abby. Later when I went to give her dinner, I noticed she had been playing in the paint and her paws were all bright orange. Kind of like how your fingers get when you eat cheetos. To end the day we carved and drew all of our FREE pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns. The boys picked the pictures and I did the carving. They turned out cute.

Fall Carnival

Little E , Big P and their friend D having fun in costume
E and P on the flatbed showing off during the fashion show
All of us on the hay ride, E thought it was so cool we got to sit next to winnie the pooh

Hay ride again. Funny thing, at the end of the hay ride the back left tire was so flat that the tire was comming off the rim. Guess with all of us and our pumpkins we were just to heavy. It also make for a very bumpy ride.

Today we went to our Neighborhood Fall Carnival. It was held at a farm. Everyone dressed up and the kids had a Costume Fashion show. There was food and games, and a huge bonfire that was way hot. We also got to go on a hay ride and pick some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. We all had a lot of fun. We invited some friends and the boys had fun in their costumes, pretending to fight each other. Can't wait for Halloween.

Big P looking for the best one

Well it is officially October. My family went to J&J Nursery for a hay ride to a pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins. We had to wait for a while, but the boys had fun just spending time with their cousin. Next comes the carving of Jack-O Lanterns and then Halloween. Does anyone else think October is just flying by?
